About this role

Queen's Medical Center - Manamana is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 16-week travel assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will work a rotating shift schedule of 5 × 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours weekly) at $2,496.60 per week.

Role Requirements:

  • Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
  • Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required
  • Minimum two or more years of full-time OR RN experience
  • Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred; ASN or BSN accepted)

Required Case Experience:

  • General Surgery
  • Trauma
  • Orthopedic surgery
  • Urology (Cystoscopies, Ureteroscopies, PCNLs, ESWL)

Preferred Case Experience:

  • Gynecology, ENT, Neurosurgery, Cardiac surgery, and Robotics (DaVinci)

Responsibilities:

You will provide surgical care for patients of all ages—from infants to geriatrics—across multiple specialties including thoracic/cardiovascular, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, plastics, dental/maxillofacial, ENT, endovascular, general surgery, robotics, and trauma. You will work with anesthesia machines, monitoring systems, suction equipment, medical gases, airway equipment, cautery devices, heating/cooling systems, and code carts with adult and pediatric paddles. You may be required to float to other areas within your skillset based on operational needs.

Assignment Details:

  • Contract duration: 16 weeks
  • Start date: July 6, 2026
  • Facility: Queen's Medical Center - Manamana (500+ bed, Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred)
  • Requested time off during the initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days, Wednesday through Wednesday
