ED RN Job in Sun City, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Banner Boswell Medical Center, located at 10401 W Thunderbird Boulevard in Sun City, Arizona. This is a travel position with a duration of 89 days, starting June 22, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3x12 night shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $2,446.20

Role Responsibilities

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients of all ages in the emergency setting. Your duties include reviewing patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, then reporting abnormal results to physicians. You will formulate comprehensive plans of care, including discharge planning, and provide direct patient care while coordinating care and supervising healthcare team activities.

You will document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses in medical records and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care. You may participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility personnel and students as needed.

Scheduling and Locations

You must be willing to float between Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed, with Boswell as your primary campus.

Required Qualifications

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Must have worked in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department specialty
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the Emergency Department
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification in emergency nursing
