CVOR Technologist Surgical Tech Job in Silverdale, WA

St Michael Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Tech to join our Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) team in Silverdale, WA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 5x8 Days: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–3:00 PM
• Varied start times available with 8, 10, and 12-hour shift options
• Block scheduling available
• 8–9 on-call shifts per month; call shifts run 9:00 PM–6:30 AM with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend call coverage includes 12-hour day shifts, 12-hour night shifts, and 24-hour backup
• Holiday coverage through rotation system
• Weekly pay: $2,524.63
• Scrubs provided by facility

Role and Responsibilities

You will work in a 4-suite CVOR managing 22–45 cases per day across all specialties. Your responsibilities include assisting with standard cardiac cases, catheterizations, thoracic procedures, and robotic cardiac and vascular procedures. If you have vascular experience, you may float to the Main OR for vascular cases.

Experience and Training

Robotics experience is preferred but not required. The facility is willing to train you on the DaVinci XI system. One week of floor-specific orientation is provided.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential (Surgical Tech)
• BLS certification
• Washington state license
• COVID vaccine required
• National certification is not required

Additional Information

The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
