<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week<br>• Float to all inpatient units as needed<br>• Every other weekend and every other holiday required<br>• Can be put on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum callback<br>• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours<br>• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)<br>• Minimum 2 years experience required, Trauma Level II experience highly preferred<br>• EPIC charting experience required<br>• Work on Medical and Pediatrics unit (travelers do not take pediatric patients)<br>• Treat adult patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and infectious diseases<br>• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights<br>• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility<br>• Any color scrubs acceptable<br>• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor&#39;s degree preferred<br>• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This hospital is a major healthcare provider offering comprehensive medical services including trauma care as a Level II trauma center.
