Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Atlanta, GA

You will work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a pediatric acute care setting at Children's Scottish Rite Hospital (CHOA) in Atlanta, Georgia. This is an 89-week travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week. Every other weekend is required. The department values flexible scheduling to meet operational needs. There are no on-call requirements.

Scope of Work

You will provide respiratory care to pediatric patients and must be prepared to float between AMBH and SR locations as needed. You will work across multiple care areas, including ICU and NICU settings. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, airway management, mechanical ventilation support, and respiratory therapy interventions appropriate to the pediatric population.

Requirements and Experience

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Active Georgia respiratory therapy license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric patient care experience
• ICU experience required
• NICU experience preferred
• Level I trauma experience highly preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Additional Information

You must commit to working at least one winter holiday as needed by the department. The facility uses the Epic electronic medical record system. Time-off requests must be submitted at the time of assignment request.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,481.
