TRAVEL - RN - CVICU - COST CENTER (653) - 7:00PM - 7:00AM

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - CVICU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit<br>• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for certain device patients<br>• 2 weekends per month scheduling requirement<br>• 1 summer holiday required (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)<br>• 2 winter holidays required (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year&#39;s Eve, New Year&#39;s Day)<br>• Float as needed, typically to other ICUs but may include other floors<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS<br>• Strong critical care experience including CVICU experience required<br>• Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required<br>• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT<br>• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients<br>• Work with ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADs<br>• Assist with central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations<br>• Use Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps<br>• Document in Meditech system<br>• Dress code requires black, red, or galaxy blue scrubs with scrub jackets/vests only</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility features a distinguished 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit that has received the HCA Unit of Distinction Award and Daisy Award recognition.
