<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Adult</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour shifts with rotating days of the week and varied shift times<br>• 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Call requirements to be discussed during interview<br>• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period<br>• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts<br>• May be required to float to other departments up to competency level<br>• Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment<br>• Provide respiratory therapy procedures for patients from newborn to geriatric ages<br>• Work primarily in critical care units, adult general care, and pediatric general care<br>• Perform patient assessments and implement respiratory care protocols<br>• Required licenses: RRT, Nevada State License, Nevada Point of Care Analyst license required prior to start<br>• Required certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS prior to start<br>• Must have 2+ years of acute care respiratory therapy experience<br>• Responsible for proper documentation of patient records and department logs<br>• Ensure positive patient experience through connection, introduction, explanation, and follow-up protocols</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center is the region&#39;s only Level II trauma center, serving a 500-mile radius with 800 inpatient beds and 80 emergency room beds.
