X-Ray Technician Job in Orangeburg, SC

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 16, 2026. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on a 5x8 schedule with on-call rotation including weekends.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
• Apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and pediatric populations
• Float within scope to OR, Ortho, Fluoro, Inpatient, Outpatient, and ER coverage as needed
• Operate Phillips and Toshiba equipment with high technical competency
• Serve patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with initiative and minimal supervision in a dynamic healthcare environment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year radiologic technology experience
• Current ARRT (R) certification
• SCRQSA (R), BLS, and CPR certifications required
• Fluoroscopy and OR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting system preferred; Cerner experience also noted
