RN (Registered Nurse)

Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour varied shifts with call responsibilities
• Must be able to scrub for 10-hour shifts - this is a critical need
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Overnight call once per week required
• Cover 3 weekend days per month (1 weekend)
• No regular weekends but 1 weekend call per month
• Holiday rotation with core staff
• First to float designation
• Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
• Work in fast-paced environment with 4-6 surgeries per day
• Handle all heart surgeries including CABG and valve procedures (no thoracic)
• Work with 4 surgical suites
• 1-2 day floor-specific orientation with preceptor
• Must have strong CVOR experience and be confident in skills
• Work with Cerner EMR system
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• BSN not required
• 2 supervisor references required at submittal (1 within 12 months, 1 within 3 years)
