ED Registered Nurse Job in Tucson, Arizona

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. This 91-day assignment begins April 20, 2026, with weekly compensation of $1,971.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency room patient care utilizing the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care decisions
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Support Trauma Level III, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving services
• Work within a 38-bed emergency department

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Willingness to float to other departments as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Charge nurse experience (eligible for additional $3/hour compensation)
• NIH certification
