<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Registered Nurse</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work under limited supervision providing direct patient care for Med-Surg patients<br>• Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care as directed<br>• Work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as scheduled<br>• Current Iowa licensure as a Registered Nurse required<br>• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience required<br>• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required<br>• ACLS certification preferred<br>• Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of hire<br>• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English well<br>• Wear appropriate apparel for the position and display nametag<br>• Administer medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and correctly<br>• Maintain standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting<br>• Perform documentation in patient records accurately, concisely and in timely manner<br>• Demonstrate effective communication skills<br>• Support and enforce infection control policies and procedures<br>• Participate in orientation and in-service training<br>• Work independently with limited direct supervision<br>• Attend meetings and in-services as required<br>• Maintain professional patient confidentiality at all times</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services to the community.
