ED (Emergency Room) RN Job in Lawton, OK

You are a registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience, ready to join Memorial Health System of Southwest Oklahoma on a 91-day travel assignment. This temporary position places you in a fast-paced ED environment where you will serve as a first responder, assess patient acuity, and deliver immediate clinical interventions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work night shifts on a schedule of 6 nights in 6 weeks (3x12-hour shifts)
• Respond to emergency admissions and identify medical issues
• Determine severity of conditions and provide immediate support to prevent long-term complications
• Administer life-sustaining care as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma state nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience
• Current certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current within 1 year and pertinent to emergency nursing specialty
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years
• Recent travel experience preferred
