Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour shifts every other weekend with holiday coverage required
• Must float between NICU, pediatric acute care, and adult acute care units
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Travel experience required
• Recent NICU experience needed with willingness to work with adult populations
• NICU coverage includes attending high-risk deliveries
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC RRT, Indiana license (must be in hand)
• 72 hours of orientation provided
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Skills include airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Preferred experience with trauma settings, teaching hospitals, emergency departments, bronchoscopes, Cerner documentation system, Hamilton G5, and Philips V60 equipment
• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
• Floating is 100% required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
