Occupational Therapist Job in Bishop, CA

Mammoth Hospital is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation position in Bishop, CA. You will deliver direct patient care in a structured clinical environment, with one 45-minute appointment scheduled each hour.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on patient diagnosis
• Set measurable goals and functional outcomes in collaboration with physicians, patients, and family members
• Develop and implement logical treatment programs based on comprehensive assessments
• Perform occupational therapy techniques and physical modalities appropriate to each diagnosis
• Reassess and revise treatment plans as necessary, with formal reviews minimum every 6 weeks
• Document progress reports in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits
• Work effectively with physicians, nurses, ancillary departments, and patients

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current California license as an Occupational Therapist
• Outpatient and hand-based therapy experience
• American Heart Association BLS certification
