Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time work schedule
• Basic Med Surg unit
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs
• Provides routine and complex nursing care, practicing independently in a clinical setting
• Utilizes the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA
• RN license in state of employment or compact required
