Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend and call requirements as needed by facility
• Required Missouri Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Preferred certification: PALS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have adult critical care experience and high volume busy ED with trauma experience
• Preferred skills: Blood gas draw, blood gas processing on GEM, blood gas interpretation
• Float requirements as needed by facility
• Work with respiratory patients throughout all hospital areas including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and trauma patients
• Equipment includes Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 Bipap with Bellavista, Vapo therm and Airvo for high flow
• EMR system: EPIC
• Patient ratios based on point system and dependent on staffing
• Dress code requirement: Black scrubs only
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
