About this role

Scotland Memorial Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join its Radiology/Cardiology department in Laurinburg, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment running Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call or weekend responsibilities.

Role Overview

You will deliver external beam radiation therapy to adult outpatient populations, with primary focus areas in prostate, breast, lung, and palliative care. You will work on site during all radiation treatment delivery, collaborating with three radiation therapists, one dosimetrist, and one physicist. Daily responsibilities include CBCT/kV/mV imaging, CT simulation, IMRT planning support, tumor localization, and ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed throughout all procedures.

Equipment & Technology

You will operate Varian TrueBeam radiation treatment machines and work with Philips big bore CT equipment for simulation and imaging.

Required Qualifications

  • RTT certification and ARRT(T) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Valid state or compact license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
  • Demonstrated experience with external beam radiation therapy
  • Adult outpatient radiation therapy experience
  • Familiarity with Aria and Varian equipment systems
  • Travel experience strongly preferred
  • Two professional references completed within the past two years

Assignment Details

Start date: June 22, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,592.
