Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) for a travel assignment in the operating room. You will work as first assist on vascular and cardiothoracic cases, supporting surgical teams throughout operative procedures.

Your Role:

You will provide first assist support in the operating room environment, working directly with surgical teams during cardiothoracic vascular procedures. Your responsibilities include anticipating surgeon needs, handling instruments and retraction, maintaining the surgical field, and assisting with hemostasis and closure as directed by the operating surgeon.

Requirements:

• Current Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) credential required
• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• Experience in first assist roles within the OR
