Telemetry RN Job in Winston Salem, NC

Join Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in our 24-bed inpatient cardiac procedural Telemetry unit. You'll work 3x12 night shifts with patient ratios of 1:5-6, caring for pre and post cardiac catheterization patients, pacemaker and AICD patients, TIA populations, and cardiac telemetry patients.

What You'll Do

• Manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Renal Dose Dopamine, Lasix, and non-titrating Nitro
• Monitor and manage arrhythmias and various cardiac procedures including stress tests
• Handle arterial and venous sheath management
• Care for patients with rapid daily turnover—average length of stay is 1.8–2.4 days
• Float as needed to similar units

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications
• IV start and Telemetry skills
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Schedule and Commitment

Work 36 or 48 hours per week on a 13-week contract. Four weekend shifts are required per each 6-week schedule. Any absences must be made up at the end of your contract and cannot be worked as overtime. Weekend call-outs require making up an additional weekend shift at the manager's discretion. Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.

This unit welcomes first-time travelers. You'll earn $1,920.67 weekly and begin on May 18, 2026.
