Physical Therapist Job in Lewistown, MO

You will provide physical therapy services in a long-term care setting at Tide Health Group - Country Aire in Lewistown, MO. This is a 91-day assignment working 5×8 day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekend requirements unless a holiday falls on a weekday.

Your responsibilities include:

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs
• Develop and implement plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Perform rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device fitting
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice for all clinical interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments according to clinical records and regulatory requirements
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers
• Document all information in the electronic documentation system and maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans
• Participate in patient care conferences and utilization review meetings
• Supervise physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students
• Adhere to APTA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards

You must have:

• Missouri state physical therapy license
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience
• New graduates accepted with Level II fieldwork experience (Level I observation alone is not sufficient)

Compensation and benefits:

• Weekly pay: $2,534.40
• Overtime and holiday pay at 1.25× rate
• No on-call responsibilities
