CVOR Technologist Job in Fort Myers, FL

Health Park Medical Center is seeking a CVOR Technologist to join its cardiovascular operating room team in Fort Myers, FL. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work as a core surgical technologist in the cardiovascular operating room, supporting open-heart and cardiac procedures. You'll function as an essential member of the surgical team, managing instruments, equipment, and supplies during complex cardiac cases.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, on day shifts with varied start times
• On-call requirement: approximately 1 weekend per month and 1 to 2 days per week from end of shift until 6:30 AM
• Floating required—travelers are prioritized for float assignments and may be called to sister campuses
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; approvals will not be granted after submission
• 50-mile radius rule applies from your permanent address

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,187.81.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience
• Extensive experience in CVOR with heavy cardiac and open-heart case experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience
• BLS certification (required)
• CST certification (preferred)
• Allied Health Professional credential
