CT Technologist Job in Ft. Walton Beach, FL

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 5, 2026. This is a Monday through Friday position with a 3x12 day shift schedule (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM), offering weekly pay of $1,918.44.

Role Overview

You will perform CT and X-ray examinations independently, working across all aspects of diagnostic radiology. Your responsibilities will include CT exams, diagnostic X-rays, OR cases, fluoroscopy, interventional procedures, trauma imaging, and portable cases. You'll operate GE and Konica equipment while maintaining accuracy and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all CT exams and procedures independently
• Conduct diagnostic X-ray examinations
• Support OR, fluoroscopy, and interventional imaging
• Handle trauma and portable case imaging
• Document findings using Meditech system
• Manage PACS (Centricity) workflows
• Provide on-call coverage including weekends and holidays
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT)(R) certification
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work independently across all imaging modalities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• PACS experience

Work Environment

You will be required to wear black scrubs. The role includes on-call responsibilities for weekend and holiday coverage, in addition to your scheduled Monday–Friday hours.
