Wound Care RN Job in Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Join Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. as a Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care. This is a full-time travel nursing position located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, with a contract duration of 89 days starting June 8, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekly compensation: $2,440.52

Your Role

You will deliver patient-centered wound care within your full RN scope of practice. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings according to hospital protocols
• Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with patients, families, and the inter-professional care team
• Implement evidence-based wound care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy
• Identify patient risk factors and prioritize care needs based on team input
• Coordinate care for multiple patients and delegate tasks appropriately to team members
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families at appropriate comprehension levels
• Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
• Provide culturally sensitive patient and family education on wound management and healing
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with Case Management
• Participate in quality improvement activities focused on patient safety and satisfaction

You communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and you stay current with evidence-based nursing practice.
