Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

You'll work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at MUSC Health Charleston, performing a range of nuclear imaging procedures including PET scans, bone scans, cardiac studies, and other nuclear medicine imaging across all patient populations from neonates through geriatrics.

Schedule & Hours

• 5x8 hour shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM, ending between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
• No holiday coverage required
• No on-call requirements
• May work Saturdays twice per month if needed for PET-CT scans due to equipment issues or backlog
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off one shift per two weeks
• During hurricane season (June–November), you may be assigned to emergency response teams

Requirements & Credentials

• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Level 1 and Level 2 trauma experience preferred
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT), and South Carolina state license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions only)
