RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

• Conduct patient assessments for wound care services based on patient age, need, and condition changes
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient-centric care plans
• Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care following evidence-based nursing practices
• Maintain safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families
• Delegate tasks appropriately to team members based on scope of practice and capabilities
• Communicate treatments and activities to patients and families using clear, collaborative approach
• Monitor patient care interventions, assess therapies, and evaluate outcomes
• Document and update treatment information in electronic health records
• Participate in process improvement activities and safety event analysis
• Required: California RN License, BLS certification, previous travel experience, and EPIC experience
• Wound care certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must complete non-billable orientation modules averaging 1-5 hours
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required
