Endoscopy RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

You will work as an RN in our Endoscopy department at BUMC Phoenix, located at 1111 E McDowell Rd. This is a 4x10 hour day shift position with flexible start times between 0700–1730 or 0800–1830, running for 89 weeks beginning May 11, 2026. You will be expected to accommodate on-call, weekend, and holiday requirements as needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, including discharge planning
• Review patient history and physical with patient and family within appropriate timeframes
• Monitor diagnostic and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Complete thorough documentation in patient records, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Participate in evidence-based practice and may engage in research activities
• Provide education, role development, and orientation support to facility personnel

Requirements:

• Current valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience in endoscopy within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

Weekly pay is $2,567. You will work in a varied schedule with opening availability in our endoscopy department.
