Mammography Technologist Job in San Francisco, CA

Sutter Health CPMC Buchanan is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in San Francisco, CA. You will work a 5x8 day shift schedule with variable scheduling that includes possible Saturday shifts and 7 weekend shifts across the contract term.

Role Overview

As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform mammographic imaging services for patient populations spanning adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You will manage a patient load of 28–30 patients per day, working collaboratively with radiologists and support staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic and screening services.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
• Current ARRT (R)(M) certification
• BLS certification
• CRT (R)(M) certification
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Both inpatient and outpatient imaging experience

• 3-D Mammography and Hologic 3D technology
• Diagnostic and Screening Mammograms
• Digital Mammography and Digital Quality Assurance Procedures
• Stereotactic Biopsy and Fine Needle Aspiration techniques
• Needle Localizations and Hologic Affirm BX procedures
• Radiation Safety protocols and Universal Precautions
• Isolation precautions and appropriate PPE use

Assignment Details

You will complete 8 hours of orientation to familiarize yourself with facility systems and protocols. The role includes interdisciplinary support from radiology interpretation services. Weekly compensation is $3,213. Start date is November 2, 2026.
