ICU Registered Nurse Job in Reno, Nevada

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Neuro ICU at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. This is a 91-day travel assignment on the night shift.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12 night shifts: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• $2,207 weekly pay
• No on-call requirements

Your Role

• Provide multidisciplinary care to Neuro ICU patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, neurologic tumors, and seizure disorders
• Care for general Medical ICU patients with conditions including DKA, sepsis, and respiratory illness
• Care for patients following neurosurgery and neurotrauma
• Monitor patients with external ventricular drains and post-Alteplase or post-Thrombectomy status
• May float to other areas of the organization up to your competency level

Requirements

• Current Nevada RN license required before start date
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
• Experience caring for neurotrauma and post-neurosurgery patients
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Available to work major holidays (must work 2 of 3 major holidays, where Eve + Day counts as 1 holiday)
• Willing to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period if needed
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
