RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float within scope to meet facility needs between like units
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; NIH Stroke Scale preferred
• Telemetry competency required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue
• Electronic charting system: Epic
• Free parking provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions including diabetes, hypertension, CAD, seizures, CVA, TIA, and chronic renal disease
• Hurricane season awareness required - may be assigned to emergency response teams from June through November
