Interventional Radiology Tech Job in Columbia, MO

You will work as a Special Procedures Technologist in the Diagnostic Imaging department at Boone Health, supporting interventional radiology procedures in both routine and emergency settings. This is a travel position offering a 5x8 rotating shift schedule. You will be based in Columbia, Missouri for an 84-week assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures including neuro IR cases and GI embolization
• Prepare and screen patients prior to procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout all procedures
• Operate specialized imaging equipment and assist with X-ray and other imaging modalities as needed
• Monitor patients during procedures and administer contrast under supervision
• Manage supplies, documentation, and ensure radiation and patient safety protocols are followed
• Respond to emergencies and take call for stroke cases
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• May assist with student training

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience required
• Hands-on experience with neuro IR cases including stroke call coverage
• Hands-on experience with GI embolization cases
• ARRT R.T.(R), ARRT VI, CV, or CI certification
• BLS certification (must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire)

Work Environment:

You will have direct patient care exposure to blood and body fluids, infectious diseases, hazardous materials, chemicals, and radiation. You must follow all radiation safety and patient protection protocols.

Compensation and Details:

Weekly pay: $3,681. ADEX Healthcare Staffing handles all placement logistics for this 84-week travel assignment.
