Physical Therapist Inpatient Job in Farmington, CT

UConn John Dempsey Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 20-week inpatient assignment in Farmington, Connecticut. This role offers the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a dynamic acute-care setting.

Position Details:

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation as needed; 1 weekend per month required
• Late-night rotation Wednesday through Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, once per month
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis for unit coverage
• See 7 to 10 patients per day
• Float not required

Clinical Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Inpatient care experience required
• Experience in a mix of orthopedics, ICU, general medicine, and oncology
• Prior travel therapy experience preferred

Credentials and Licensing:

• Active Connecticut physical therapy license required prior to start date
• Current BLS certification required

Assignment Details:

• Start date: December 11, 2026
• Duration: 20 weeks
• Weekly pay: $2,766.70
