<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour mid shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday<br>• Take call as needed<br>• 13-week contract assignment<br>• 40 hours per week with no guaranteed hours for first 2 weeks of contract<br>• Provide advanced level technical assistance to surgical team before, during, and after surgery<br>• Assist in surgical operations under supervision of surgeons and registered nurses<br>• Ensure operating room environment safety and proper equipment function<br>• Must be competent in emergency neuro (cranials and spine), eyes, endo-vascular, ENT, general trauma, plastics, robotics, and ortho cases<br>• Level 1 Trauma designated operating room experience required<br>• Minimum five years of surgical tech experience required<br>• Ability to scrub general, urology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, ortho, and neuro cases required<br>• Experience with robotics, transplant, burn, ophthalmology, or CT cases preferred<br>• Required certifications: Current BLS certification through American Heart Association and current certification as Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)<br>• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor&#39;s Degree preferred<br>• Complete virtual orientation through Microsoft Teams and Epic e-learning course<br>• Holiday rotation as needed</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This academic medical center operates as a Level 1 Trauma facility providing comprehensive surgical services with advanced technology and specialized departments. The facility features a 20-bed unit and offers complex surgical procedures including emergency trauma care, neurosurgery, robotics, and various specialized surgical services.
