Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• 4x10 shifts scheduled from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Block scheduling is available
• On-call coverage is required approximately 1 time per week
• Weekend call is required approximately once every 6 weeks through on-call rotation
• Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests are permitted per contract
• No floating requirement
• Supports adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work within a department that includes 4 Cath Labs and a 4-bay holding area
• 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience is required
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred
• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, and pre/post-procedure experience are required
• Hybrid OR experience is preferred
• Adult diagnostic cardiac catheterization experience is required
• Interventional catheterization experience is required
• Cardiac stent placement and PCI experience are required
• Left and right heart catheterization experience are required
• IABP placement/removal and Impella experience are required
• Rotational atherectomy experience is required
• Pulmonary Artery/Swan-Ganz monitoring experience is required
• Cardioversion and dysrhythmia interpretation/management experience are required
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring experience are required
• Sheath removal/monitoring experience is required
• Must be comfortable circulating procedures
• Experience with emergency medications, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, Dobutamine, IV vasopressors, thrombolytics, and reversal agents is required
• Blood product administration, IV infusion pumps, and starting/maintaining IVs are required
• Epic charting system experience is required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Pennsylvania RN licensure is required
