Pharmacist Inpatient Job in West Plains, MO

Join Ozarks Medical Center as an inpatient pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work the overnight shift as the sole pharmacist on duty, providing clinical pharmacy services to support safe medication management across the facility.

• Schedule: 4x10 nights, Wednesday through Tuesday. You'll work 7 consecutive days followed by 7 days off. Weekday shifts run 7:30 PM to 5:30 AM; weekend shifts run 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
• Primary Responsibilities: Order verification, PharmacyOneSource queue management for clinical alerts, pharmacokinetic and renal dosing oversight, and intravenous preparation including antibiotics, compounding, IV piggybacks, and sterile technique. You will not be expected to attend code blues or rapid responses.
• Clinical Requirements: Proficiency in anticoagulation therapy, clinical dosing, geriatric dosing, high-alert medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, therapeutic medication monitoring, and warfarin dosing. Pharmacotherapy management experience across cardiovascular, endocrine, infectious disease, pulmonary, and renal areas is essential.
• Systems and Equipment: Meditech EMR experience required. You must be proficient with medication dispensing systems including Pyxis and unit dose storage systems.
• Credentials and Experience: Missouri state pharmacy license, PharmD, and RPh credentials required. BLS certification preferred. Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience required. Community hospital experience and previous charge experience are preferred. Cardiac dosing and drug shortage management skills are preferred.

Assignment Details: 91-day contract with a start date of July 6, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,312. Travelers only; 60-mile radius restriction with no exceptions.
