Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You will work as a Registered Nurse on a 34-bed medical-surgical unit at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. This 13-week travel assignment offers 4x12 night shifts, with the flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as scheduled.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a ratio of 1:5-7 patients
• Manage acute patients with a wide range of diagnoses in a fast-paced environment
• Use the Cerner EMR system for all charting and documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV services, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Care for adult patients with complex medical conditions

Requirements

• Current WV or Compact License
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BCLS, NIH, and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility

Assignment Details

• Weekly pay: $2,592
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 6, 2026
• Shift: 4x12 nights
• Non-billable orientation modules required before start (approximately 8 hours)
• Schedule requests cannot be guaranteed but will be accommodated when possible
• Facility attendance policy allows 2-3 call-offs per contract
• No scrubs provided
• Extension available upon completion
