Wound Care RN Job in Clinton, MD

You will work as a Registered Nurse in Wound Care at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, MD. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 30, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,052.

Schedule and Setting

• 5x8 day shifts: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday with one Saturday shift per month
• Every third weekend required
• Every other holiday as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:6

Clinical Responsibilities

You will provide direct care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Your daily work includes wound and ulcer assessment and management for Stage I–IV pressure ulcers and HAPI. You will treat routine pressure injuries (new and chronic) and evaluate common and rare dermatologic conditions, including necrotizing fasciitis. You will support new ostomy placements and provide ongoing ostomy care and management. You will operate wound vacs, novel therapies, and camera photography equipment as needed for treatment planning and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• 3 years of nursing experience
• Hospital-based nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• BLS certification
• WCC (Wound Care Certification)

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience
• ACLS certification
• WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse) certification
