Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy GI

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with 4 ten-hour shifts, scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Some weekend and holiday call required
• Weekend call consists of 1 weekend per month, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday and Sunday, with potential for additional weekends based on nursing rotation
• Weeknight call requires participation in a number system to finish remaining cases, typically 3 days per month
• Holiday call scheduled 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling available
• 1 RN per room ratio across 5 suites
• Serve as intra-op circulation nurse with no sedation responsibilities
• Common cases include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EMR, and hemorrhoid banding
• Surgical techs available in the department
• No floating requirements
• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment required
• Knowledge of Epic charting system is a plus
• Scrubs required (provided in house)
• BSN not required
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
