Mammography Technologist Job in Kingman, AZ

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in an acute care setting, earning $2,592 weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, needle localizations, and stereotactic breast biopsies
• Administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, including positioning the x-ray beam, anatomically positioning the patient, selecting exposure factors, and initiating exposure
• Use professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes
• Select appropriate shielding and immobilization devices for patients
• Verify patient identification using two unique identifiers (Name and Date of Birth) and confirm procedure requested
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures and accurately document exam start and stop times
• Document patient and exam information in Meditech imaging software database
• Apply AIDET patient communication framework and demonstrate empathy to patients and family members
• Assist with movement and manipulation of patients and equipment weighing up to and over 300 lbs
• Remain able to sit, stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the scheduled shift

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Current registration and licensure in Mammography by AZDHS(M)
• Current registration and licensure in Mammography by ARRT(M)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Certified Mammography Technologist – ARRT(M)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a mammography technologist performing digital mammography

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to perform x-rays
• Experience using Hologic 3D/Tomo

You will wear ceil blue scrubs as required dress code. The client may call off or cancel up to one shift per two weeks. Assignment begins June 24, 2026.
