RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week (must be indicated on submission)
• Weekend requirements as needed, typically every other weekend
• No call requirements
• 13-week assignment length
• 1 year stepdown inpatient experience required
• Current RN license required (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4 on 22-bed unit
• Must have Trach/Vent experience as this is a respiratory-heavy floor
• Work with equipment including TRACH, VENT, VAPO, BIPAP
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Care for patients with respiratory failure, ETOH, overdose, GI bleed, electrolyte imbalance, COPD, and cancer
• Black scrubs required
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift
• Must be available entire week for orientation
• Auto-offer position contingent upon facility approval
