RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Day/Night rotation shifts only
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• On-call responsibilities required
• Work on a 24-bed Hematology/Oncology/Gynecologic Oncology and Med Surg unit
• Work on a 9-bed Hematology and Cellular Therapy unit
• Administer chemotherapy and manage associated side effects
• Care for patients receiving radiation therapy and radioisotopes
• Most common diagnoses include lymphoma, leukemia, and ovarian cancers
• Preferred experience with chest tubes
• Preferred experience with drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone
• Preferred experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Preferred experience with trachs and laryngectomies
• Preferred experience with telemetry and complex wound care
• Preferred experience with central line care, maintenance, and blood draws
