Certified Surgical Technologist OR Tech in Alexandria, VA

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 5–6 on-call shifts per week for overnight and weekend coverage
• No floating between departments
• Holiday call coverage applies only if it falls within your contract dates
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40

Role and Responsibilities

You will support surgical teams across 11 operating suites, handling 25–35 cases daily. Your experience must include thoracic, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotics procedures. Case types span orthopedic (total joints, sports medicine, fractures), neuro (spine and cranial procedures with navigation stealth), maxillofacial, ENT, plastics, vascular, colo-rectal, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, podiatry, and breast procedures.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of surgical technology experience
• Active Virginia surgical technologist license at time of submission
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification
• EPIC EMR experience is helpful

• One week of floor-specific orientation (two weeks if assigned to night shift)
