Electrophysiology Technician

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts or 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 2 days of late case coverage per week
• Average daily caseload of 18 cases
• 1 year EP Lab clinical experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with required EP experience
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No floating required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES/RCIS
• Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit
• Experience required with Cerner charting system and electrophysiology lab procedures
• Hemodynamic monitoring and ablation experience required
• EKG settings experience required: Inpatient, Outpatient, obtaining vitals, sinus node rhythms
• Equipment experience required: Philips X-Ray machine/Siemens x-ray machine, GE Micropacer
• Preferred equipment experience: 3D mapping Biosense, 3D mapping Abbott/ESI, GE/Abbott EP4, ViewMate U/Sound
• Perform special procedures including cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardioversion, device implants, and ablations
• Work with adult and geriatric patients in a 5-room EP lab unit
• 20 hours of orientation provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
