Pediatrics RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health is seeking an RN to join our pediatric nursing team on a 3x12 night shift schedule. This 89-day travel assignment begins April 20, 2026, and offers you the opportunity to work across multiple pediatric acute care settings.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care to pediatric patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Your responsibilities include monitoring physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, documenting patient responses to nursing interventions, and assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures. You will interact with families regarding care plans and discharge instructions, delegate tasks to support staff, and assume responsibility for your assigned group of patients.

Unit Assignments

You will float across all children's units including acute care, surgical, behavioral health, medical specialty (GI, neuro, respiratory), hematology oncology, step down, and cardiac pediatrics. You may also float to the NICU for feeder growers and low acuity patients only.

Required Skills and Experience

• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Tracheostomy care and high flow oxygen therapy experience
• Infusion therapy experience and ability to serve as first line for skills
• 1 year of nursing experience minimum
• Current Oklahoma RN license or multistate compact license
• BLS and PALS certification
• Associate's degree in nursing from accredited program

Schedule and Compensation

This position offers 3x12 night shifts with weekend and holiday requirements. Weekly pay is $2,530.80.
