Cath Lab Technologist Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 27, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• 4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM)
• Night shift coverage on on-call basis
• Every 5th weekend on-call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
• Weekly pay: $2,745

Your Role

You will work in a 5-bed Cardiac Cath Lab unit with a 1:1 patient ratio. Your responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations and structural heart procedures. You will operate X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iStat, and Avox equipment, and document all patient care using the Cerner EMR system.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Either RCIS or ARRT certification for tech positions

What to Expect

No floating is required—you will remain in the Cath Lab throughout your assignment. You will wear surgical green scrubs per facility dress code. This role is ideal for experienced Cath Lab technologists seeking a focused environment with predictable day-shift scheduling and no unit rotation.
