Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work varied schedule in operating room inpatient setting
• Must have experience with Level I trauma, neuro (both spine and cranial), vascular including endovascular procedures
• Robotic surgery experience preferred (DV5)
• Must have urology and GYN experience
• Additional experience in ENT and plastics preferred but not crucial
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Utilize specialized knowledge and nursing skills to assess data and provide age-appropriate care
• Formulate comprehensive care plans including discharge planning
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Provide nursing supervision and delegate appropriately to other healthcare team members
• Participate in unit shared leadership and education activities
• Must possess current valid RN license and BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies with annual validations
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area required
• Physical demands include ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend frequently
• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
