Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Mountain Home, AR

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an inpatient rehabilitation position at Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 18, 2026.

Position Details

• Monday through Friday schedule, 5x8 days (no weekends or call responsibilities)
• Work with adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• 1:1 patient ratio with approximately 6 visits per day
• Patients receive 3 hours of therapy daily
• Patient populations include CVA, neurology conditions, Parkinson's disease, MS, TBI, spinal cord injuries, hip fractures, amputations, and multiple trauma
• Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team staffing meetings
• 24 hours of orientation provided

Requirements

• Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
• 12–18 months of related experience (excluding clinical affiliations)
• Current Arkansas PTA license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to lift up to 250 pounds using proper body mechanics
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, push, and pull for up to 8+ hours per day
• Visual acuity, keen hearing, and manual dexterity required for equipment operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner charting system experience
• Travel experience
