ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• TNCC required for this position
• Work 12-hour shifts with day shift running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and night shift running 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Additional shift coverage includes 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM rotations
• Every other weekend required with no on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratios of 1:2-3
• 3+ years of recent emergency department experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred to demonstrate ability to multi-task and think independently
• Perform procedures including STEMI protocol, stroke protocol, conscious sedation, chest tubes, codes, intubation, laceration repair, antivenom infusion, and orthopedic splinting
• Operate equipment including Philips monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machine, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, and Verathon bladder scanner
• Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
