Sterile Processing Technician Job in Mason City, IA

You will work as a Sterile Processing Technician at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Evening shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• 5 days per week
• Every 3rd weekend call rotation required
• On-call responsibilities included
• Weekly pay: $1,408

Role Responsibilities

You will prepare, sterilize, and manage surgical instruments and equipment. Your work ensures that all items meet infection control standards and are ready for clinical use. You will handle instrument inspection, cleaning, packaging, and sterilization processes according to facility protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Current certification required—certified candidates only
• Allied Health Professional credential
• Ability to work evening shifts and on-call rotations
