CT Technologist Job in Austell, GA

You'll work as a CT Technologist on the night shift at Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 4, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,360.

Schedule and Flexibility

You'll work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role requires flexibility to meet department needs, and you may be called upon for additional shifts when necessary.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures, including patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history before procedures begin
• Administer contrast media according to established protocols
• Operate power injector and all CT department workstations
• Push and retrieve images from CT console to PACS
• Ensure proper patient identification and appropriate right/left markers on all studies
• Complete all studies in RIS before completing in PACS
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Maintain venipuncture competency

Requirements

You must hold a minimum of 1 year of experience in Radiology, with less than 1 year of CT experience preferred. Required certifications include ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R), ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), and BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or as an Instructor. You must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

You'll need to function independently and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Detail orientation and the ability to multitask throughout your shift are essential. Compliance with Joint Commission standards and all regulatory agency standards is expected.
