ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Critical Care Float Pool experience preferred
• Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 3:1
• Adult patient population
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: Every other holiday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to all Critical Care Units or to MS or LLM if needed
• May float to MS or LLM and take up to 4 patients
• PA or Compact license required in hand
• RTO required at the time of submission
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• 40-hour orientation period
• Pass/Fail exam required for clearance with only 3 attempts allowed
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• PA fingerprints required
• Experience with diverse critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drips, and shock management
